Ranking news
Rankings explains movement in the Top 100 and the other ranked lists: which games entered, which slipped, and what in the underlying data caused the change. Positions come from published game data, recorded play activity from SlotsLaunch and the editorial component of the SR Score, and each story states which of those moved.
We publish this reporting so a ranking is never a black box. If a game rises because its play activity grew, we say so; if it rises because an editor completed testing and the editorial component could finally be scored, we say that instead. Games without a published return-to-player figure stay unscored and carry no score badge.
Lists are refreshed monthly, with interim notes when a large data correction lands. The full method, including the four score components and their weights, is documented on the How we rank page and linked from every ranking story.
