Studio review

InOut Games

InOut Games is the studio behind Chicken Road, making short instant games in which you decide when to stop, plus wheel games such as Ice Fish and, lately, slots.

Verdict: a studio built on the stop button

InOut Games designs around one moment: the point at which you choose to stop and collect. There are no reels in its best-known game and no free-spins round to wait for. You take a step, decide whether to take another, and accept the result. That gives its games unusually short rounds and very clear maths. It also means there's little to do beyond that one decision, which won't suit everyone.

Confirming the Chicken Road connection

InOut Games did make Chicken Road. InOut's own site has a Chicken Road page that lists the game's 98% RTP, its 4 April 2024 release date and its four difficulty settings: easy, medium, hard and hardcore. Trade press agrees. Yogonet describes InOut as "the studio behind the viral hit Chicken Road", and InOut's homepage lists a sequel, Chicken Road 2.0, among its current titles.

What the studio does and doesn't publish

InOut's site describes "gamified products", localisation into more than 15 languages, and support for partners. Yogonet names Vladislav Snak as chief executive. A 2026 Yogonet report on a distribution deal describes the studio's focus as crash and instant-win games with simple mechanics, short sessions and a mobile-first design.

What the official site doesn't give is a founding year, a registered address, a parent company or licence details. Other websites make claims about these, but they don't agree and none is a primary source. We've therefore left founded, headquarters and parent blank.

Chicken Road and Ice Fish, compared

InOut has two titles on SlotsRanker. Verified specs:

GameTypeRTPMax winRelease
Chicken RoadInstant Win98%—4 April 2024
Ice FishInstant Win95.50%5,000x11 June 2026

The two share a category but play quite differently.

Chicken Road is a crossing game. You pick a difficulty, then move a chicken one lane at a time, and each safe step raises the multiplier. Hit a trap and the round is lost, or stop and collect what you've reached. Our review shows that the published multiplier ladders fit a simple model: a fixed board, a set number of hidden traps per difficulty, and every stop point priced to return the same 98% over time. Difficulty changes the spread of results, not the long-run return. Sources disagree on its top multiplier, so we list max win as not verified.

Ice Fish is a wheel game. Our review describes a 45-sector wheel with white and grey anchor sectors and three fish bonus sectors. Multipliers can be added before the spin. A bonus hit cuts to an under-ice scene where one fish sets the result. Its 5,000x cap comes from our verified specs, and our review shows that a pre-spin multiplier on the top fish sector is the only way to reach it. There are no per-step decisions here. Once your chips are placed, the wheel decides.

Chicken Road, then, is the game of choice, and Ice Fish is the game of chance with one big bonus. Chicken Road also has the higher return, 98% against 95.5%.

Provably fair checks and published RTPs

Both games on our site come with a published RTP: 98% on Chicken Road's official page and 95.5% for Ice Fish. Our Ice Fish review notes a provably fair round-verification option. Third-party descriptions of Chicken Road describe hash-based verification too, though the official page we checked didn't mention it. Provably fair tools let you check that a round's result was fixed before it was played. They don't change the return.

InOut doesn't publish a volatility figure for either game. On Chicken Road, the difficulty setting and the point you stop at effectively set your own risk level.

Beyond instant games

In October 2025, Yogonet reported that InOut had launched Chicken Royal, its first slot, which uses the chicken character from its crossing game. The studio's homepage now lists titles such as MegaBlock Empire, Dragon Pots and Wheel Out alongside Ice Fish and Chicken Road 2.0.

Who InOut suits

  • Players who want control over risk within a single round.
  • Anyone short on time, because rounds last seconds.
  • Maths-minded players, since Chicken Road's ladders can be worked out.

Fans of long bonus rounds and slot features will find InOut's instant games thin.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Chicken Road has a published 98% RTP, one of the highest on our site.
  • Simple, fast rounds with one clear decision.
  • Provably fair verification is described for its instant games.

Cons

  • Basic company information, including founding year, address and licences, isn't published on its site.
  • Once you've understood the stop decision, there's little extra depth.
