First impressions
Light & Wonder is the only company in this group whose best-known games started life on casino-floor cabinets. Its online catalogue is built partly around bringing those franchises to screens, and the Huff N' Puff games show how that works. The bonus rounds are big and theatrical, with a lot happening on screen, and they are built around steps you move up through rather than one multiplier.
If you like games with a clear sense of progression, this is a studio to know. If you prefer compact rules you can learn in one spin, it may feel busy.
From Scientific Games to Light & Wonder
The company was previously Scientific Games Corporation. It announced the new name in March 2022, completed the legal change on 28 April 2022, and began trading on Nasdaq as LNW the next day. iGaming Business linked the rename to the sale of its lottery and sports betting businesses, and the lottery business kept the Scientific Games name.
Light & Wonder is based at 6601 Bermuda Road, Las Vegas. At the time of the rename, it described itself as a cross-platform games company with more than 6,500 employees, organised into three units: Gaming for land-based machines, iGaming for online games, and SciPlay for social and free-to-play games.
Its online games run through what it calls the OpenGaming network, which connects its own studios, partner studios and operators. Its iGaming page highlights franchises including Huff N' Puff, Rainbow Riches Rainbow Frenzy and Into the Storm. The demo network we use carries 511 titles from Light & Wonder.
The cross-platform idea in practice
The company's approach is to take one brand and release it in several formats. At ICE 2025, it presented new Huff N' Puff games, including Huff N' Even More Puff, as part of a global roll-out of the franchise across channels. That means the online versions have to keep the look and structure players already know from the cabinets.
The result is a clear design signature. Bonus rounds are built around upgrades. You move up tiers, frames get better, and wheels unlock bigger prize sets.
Huff N' Even More Puff Grand, up close
The Light & Wonder game on SlotsRanker is:
| Game | RTP | Volatility | Max win |
|---|---|---|---|
| Huff N' Even More Puff Grand | 96% | High | 10,000x |
Light & Wonder's own game page lists a release date of 3 September 2026 and a maximum of 10,000x. It describes the game's frame types as Straw, Stick, Brick and Diamond, with wheel features that step up through Super and Ultra tiers.
It's the third online game in the current Three Little Pigs run, after Huff N' More Puff and Huff N' Even More Puff. Hard Hat symbols build frames during bonus rounds, the frames become houses, and the Big Bad Wolf blows them down to reveal prizes. The Grand edition adds a Diamond frame, a Palace tier above brick and a top-level Ultra Wheel.
Our review found that most of the game's variance is decided when the bonus is triggered. The Buzz Saw symbol that lands with the trigger decides which wheel spins. The wheel then decides which features and fixed prizes are available, from a 20x Mini on the standard wheel to a 10,000x prize found only on the Ultra Wheel.
Five RTP builds on the official page
Light & Wonder publishes its RTP versions on the game page. Huff N' Even More Puff Grand lists five: 96%, 94%, 92%, 90% and 87%. The game looks and plays the same in each version. Only the long-run return changes. The gap between the top and bottom versions is nine percentage points, one of the widest we have seen on an official page. We show the 96% figure in our spec table, and the game's information panel shows which version is running.
Who Light & Wonder suits
These games suit players who enjoy watching a bonus build up in stages and who like familiar characters and themes. They also suit anyone who knows the franchises from land-based machines. They are less suited to players who dislike busy screens, or who want a single simple feature.
