Privacy

This notice explains what information SlotsRanker collects, why, how long we keep it and the choices you have. SlotsRanker is a free-to-play games and review site for adults. We never ask for payment details, and nothing on the site involves real money.

What we collect

If you browse as a guest. Your browser stores your 18+ confirmation, your cookie choice and a guest profile (virtual coins, favourites and ratings) on your own device. We do not receive this information.

If you create a free profile. We store the player name, email address and password you choose (the password is stored only as a secure hash), plus your profile activity: virtual coins, level, badges, favourites, ratings, the games you open and the leaderboard points they earn. Your player name, level, points and badges appear on the public monthly leaderboard. Your email address is never shown.

If you contact us. We keep your name, email address, topic and message so we can reply.

If you join the newsletter. We keep your email address, the date you signed up and the date you confirmed. You are only added after you click the confirmation link we email you.

When you use game and review buttons. We record anonymous usage of the "Play free" and "Review" buttons: the game, the page, the device type, the country and, if you arrived from one of our advertising links and accepted cookies, the campaign code. Your IP address is used once to look up the country and is then discarded. Administrators’ own clicks are not recorded.

Server logs. Our hosting provider processes standard request data (IP address, browser type, page requested and time) to deliver the site securely.

Why we use it

  • To run your profile, the daily bonus and the leaderboard (performing our agreement with you).
  • To answer messages and send the newsletter you asked for (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
  • To understand which games and reviews are useful and to measure our advertising (our legitimate interest in running the site; advertising cookies only with your consent).
  • To keep the site secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use anything we hold to judge your finances or gambling behaviour.

Who else is involved

  • Game studios and our demo provider. When you press "Play free", the game loads in a frame from our demo game provider, which may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts. Our fonts are delivered by Google, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
  • Hosting and email. Our hosting company stores the site and sends our emails.
  • Advertising measurement. If we run advertising, a measurement pixel (for example from Reddit) loads only after you accept cookies. See the cookie notice.

How long we keep it

  • Free profiles: until you delete your profile.
  • Contact messages: up to 24 months.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Unconfirmed sign-ups are removed after 30 days.
  • Button usage records: 13 months.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to its use or withdraw consent. You can delete your profile yourself on your profile page. For anything else, use the contact form and choose "Privacy request"; we reply within 30 days. If you are in the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Adults only

SlotsRanker is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a child has created a profile, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change how we use information, we will update this notice and the date above before the change takes effect.
