Quick verdict: a small grid with a very busy fourth reel

Fortune Garuda 500 is a TaDa Gaming slot released on 31 March 2026. The main grid is tiny: three reels, three rows and five lines. Most of the action happens on a separate special reel on the right, which holds multipliers from 1x to 500x and Nudge symbols. When a line wins, the multiplier in the centre of that reel applies to the win. When a Nudge symbol gets involved, the reel shifts down again and again, grabbing several multipliers and stacking them together.

TaDa Gaming lists a maximum win of 25,000x the bet, which is double the 12,500x cap on its earlier Fortune Gems 500. Published specifications give the RTP as 97.1%. The most important choice for a player is the Extra Bet. Its two tiers remove low multipliers from the special reel at a cost of 1.5x or 8x the normal bet, which completely changes what a winning line is likely to be multiplied by.

The special reel: eleven multipliers and one centre position

The special reel sits to the right of the 3x3 grid and spins on its own. It doesn't hold regular paying symbols. Published rule summaries describe it as carrying random multiplier symbols and Ex NUDGE symbols. TaDa Gaming's news release says it applies multipliers from 1x to 500x to winning combinations.

The reel is widely reported to carry eleven values:

1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x and 500x.

The rule for using those values is simple: all line wins are multiplied by the multiplier sitting in the centre of the reel. So the reel shows three positions, but only the middle one counts in a normal win.

Two points follow directly from this:

  • The multiplier only matters when a line wins. TaDa's own page says every win pays line rewards and can also activate the special side reel. A 500x in the centre on a spin with no line win does nothing.
  • Low values are included. Before any Extra Bet is used, the reel can land 1x in the centre. That means a winning line gets no boost at all.

The big gap in the list is also worth noting. The values go 50x, 100x, then straight to 500x. There is nothing between 100x and 500x, so the top value is a clear jump rather than the last step on a smooth ladder.

How the 3x3 grid pays before any multiplier

The main grid is a compact line slot. TaDa Gaming lists a 3x3 layout with 5 win lines, and lines pay left to right. Symbols are described as landing in stacks across the reels, which matters on a grid this small because a stack can complete more than one line at once. TaDa's own feature list includes "Full Symbol" alongside Multiplier and Nudge, but the official page doesn't explain that term, so we won't guess at how it works.

The paytable values for three of a kind, in multiples of the bet, are widely reported as:

SymbolThree of a kind
Wild / Ex Nudge Wild25x
Gems (three colours)10x, 7.5x, 6x
A, K, Q, J1x to 5x

So the Wild sits at the top at 25x, with the other symbols running from 10x down to 1x. The Wild can land on all three main reels and substitutes for all symbols, which on a five-line grid means a single Wild in the centre position can contribute to every line that passes through it.

These base values are small on purpose. The best three of a kind is 25x. The design leaves almost all of the upside to the special reel and the Nudge mechanic.

Nudge and Nudge Wild, step by step

This is the feature that sets the game apart from a simple "win times multiplier" slot. There are two symbols involved: Ex NUDGE on the special reel, and Ex NUDGE WILD (often shortened to Nudge Wild) on the main reels.

Here is how a Nudge sequence works, based on TaDa Gaming's release and published rule summaries:

  1. A line win is needed first. These symbols only activate when there is a line win. The Nudge Wild triggers when it lands as part of, or alongside, an existing win.
  2. Where the symbols appear. The Ex NUDGE WILD appears on reels 1 to 3, the main grid. The Ex NUDGE symbol appears on the special reel.
  3. The symbol sets the number of grabs. The number shown on the Nudge Wild symbol decides how many times the special reel is pulled down.
  4. The reel nudges downward. Each nudge moves the special reel down one position. TaDa's product page describes Garuda grabbing the multipliers above and pulling them down.
  5. Each grab collects a multiplier. As the reel moves, the nudges collect the multiplier values that pass through the centre, and those values combine.
  6. The stacked value is applied. TaDa Gaming's release says the grabbed multipliers stack together before they are applied to the total win.

The official product page says there can be up to 500 GRABs. Launch coverage links the 500 figure to the enhanced Extra Bet modes, but TaDa's own page doesn't tie the number to a specific mode, so the safe reading is that 500 is the stated maximum.

One detail isn't published: whether the grabbed values are added together or multiplied together. TaDa uses the word "stacking" without defining the arithmetic, so this review doesn't assume either. The in-game rules screen is the place to check how the stack is totalled.

The key point for players is this: a Nudge sequence doesn't just give you one lucky multiplier. It gives you several at once, all applied to the same line win. That is why the Nudge count matters more than any single value on the reel.

Gift of Garuda: the random boost on any spin

Gift of Garuda is a random modifier. Every spin has a chance to trigger it. It doesn't need a special symbol and doesn't cost anything extra.

When it triggers, it can produce these effects:

  • Raising the odds of high multipliers. TaDa's release says it can boost how often high-value multipliers appear. Published rule summaries add that it can also raise the odds of Ex Nudge symbols landing.
  • Upgrading the multiplier result. TaDa's release says it can upgrade the final special reel result.
  • Respinning the main reels. TaDa's release says it can respin the main reels to improve the winning result.
  • Switching to a stronger outcome. It can replace the final reel outcome with a stronger symbol, switching a multiplier to a higher value.

Some rule summaries mention five possible effects but only describe four, so only the four documented effects are listed here. The in-game rules screen is the best place to check the full list.

Gift of Garuda is best seen as a way of improving the spin that has already landed. It can turn a weak result into a better one, but nothing published shows it creating a win from a spin that has no line win.

The two Extra Bet tiers and what they strip from the reel

Extra Bet is the one setting that changes the maths of Fortune Garuda 500, and the details are clearer than for most features. TaDa's official page says only that Extra Bet increases the chance of high multipliers. Published rule summaries and launch coverage describe both tiers consistently, as set out below.

ModeCostMultipliers removedLowest value leftOther effect
Normal1x the betNone1xNone
Extra Bet 11.5x the bet1x and 2x3xHigher odds of high multipliers
Extra Bet 28x the bet1x, 2x, 3x, 5x and 10x15xNudge values five times higher

Here is what that means for the special reel:

  • Normal play keeps all eleven values, from 1x to 500x.
  • Extra Bet 1 leaves nine values: 3x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x and 500x. A winning line is always multiplied by at least 3x.
  • Extra Bet 2 leaves only six values: 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x and 500x. Every winning line gets at least 15x. This mode is also described as raising the minimum Nudge grab values, with Nudge values five times higher than normal.

The cost is the catch. Extra Bet 2 makes every spin cost 8x the base bet. The multipliers get better, but the stake grows by the same amount on every spin, including every spin with no line win. Removing the low values doesn't make a line win more likely. It only makes the wins that do land bigger.

No RTP is published for either Extra Bet tier, so it isn't possible to say whether they change the return. Maximum wins are measured against the bet, and nothing published says whether the 25,000x cap is calculated on the base bet or the higher Extra Bet stake. Check the game's info screen before relying on either reading.

Reaching 25,000x

TaDa Gaming lists the maximum win as 25,000x the bet. Some listings also show 5,000x; TaDa's own figure of 25,000x is the one used here.

TaDa doesn't publish how the cap is reached, and we won't invent a winning combination. What the rules do show are the three things that raise a single result:

  1. Line wins across the grid. Stacked symbols can complete several of the five lines together, and the Wild's 25x is the top symbol value.
  2. A high multiplier in the centre. The special reel's top value is 500x.
  3. Nudge grabs. Up to 500 grabs can stack several multipliers onto the same win.

A useful comparison: Fortune Gems 500 uses the same 500x top multiplier and a similar Nudge idea, but TaDa caps it at 12,500x. Fortune Garuda 500's cap is exactly twice that. The single 500x symbol is the same in both games, so the higher ceiling has to come from how wins and Nudge stacks combine, not from a bigger reel value.

RTP 97.1% and the Medium versus Low volatility question

TaDa Gaming's official page and launch release don't publish an RTP. The 97.1% figure is widely reported in published game specifications. RTP is a long-run design figure. Over a very large number of spins, the game is designed to return 97.1 units for every 100 staked. It says nothing about a short session.

No lower-RTP version has been published, and there are no separate RTP figures for the Extra Bet modes. If TaDa publishes those later, they may differ from 97.1%. As with any slot, the game's info screen shows the setting in use.

TaDa Gaming's own page rates volatility as Medium, with three of five indicators lit. Some listings rate it Low; the studio's Medium rating is the one used here.

The two labels can both make some sense. The base line wins are small and widely described as frequent, which fits a low-volatility description. But the special reel ranges from 1x to 500x, Nudge sequences can stack many values and the cap is 25,000x. That long tail pushes the game toward the middle. Extra Bet 2 also makes each spin cost much more while filtering out the small multipliers, which moves results further toward the high end. So in practice, the volatility you experience depends heavily on which mode you play.

Is there a bonus buy?

No bonus buy is documented for Fortune Garuda 500. The official page doesn't list one, and published rule summaries don't mention it either.

That makes sense for this design. There is no separate bonus round to buy. Nudge sequences only happen with a line win, and Gift of Garuda triggers at random. The closest thing to paying for better features is Extra Bet, which raises the cost of every spin rather than buying a single feature.

Fortune Garuda 500 versus Fortune Gems 500

The closest sibling is TaDa Gaming's Fortune Gems 500, released on 6 August 2025. Both games are built on the same "3+1" idea: a small main grid plus a special reel of multipliers.

TaDa's release for Fortune Gems 500 describes the Ex NUDGE triggering a series of multiplier grabs, with each collected multiplier building on the next. It also describes an Extra Bet that filters out low multipliers to raise the chance of values like 100x and 500x.

Fortune Garuda 500 keeps that core and adds to it. It has a Nudge Wild on the main reels as well as the Ex Nudge on the special reel, the Gift of Garuda modifier, a documented second Extra Bet tier and a maximum win twice as high. If you already know Fortune Gems 500, the special reel will feel familiar. What's new is how many routes there are to extra multipliers.

Who Fortune Garuda 500 suits

  • Players who like simple grids. Nine positions and five lines are easy to read at a glance.
  • Anyone who enjoys choosing their own risk. The Extra Bet tiers let you trade a much higher spin cost for a higher minimum multiplier.
  • Fans of Fortune Gems 500 who want more Nudge options and a higher ceiling.
  • Not ideal for players who want free-spin rounds or collectable bonus features. Everything happens on the base spin.
  • Not ideal for anyone who wants clear official numbers. TaDa's own page doesn't publish the RTP, and some listings rate the volatility differently from the studio.

What Fortune Garuda 500 gets right, and where it falls short

Pros

  • The special reel's rules are easy to follow: the centre value multiplies line wins.
  • Nudge grabs can stack many multipliers onto a single win.
  • Two Extra Bet tiers give a clear, documented choice of risk.
  • The 25,000x cap is double that of Fortune Gems 500.

Cons

  • Base line wins are small, topping out at 25x for three Wilds.
  • Extra Bet 2 multiplies the cost of every spin by eight, including spins with no win.
  • TaDa's official page doesn't publish the RTP, and volatility labels vary between listings.

Fortune Garuda 500 FAQ

What is the RTP of Fortune Garuda 500?

Published specifications list 97.1%. TaDa Gaming's official page doesn't publish an RTP, so check the game's info screen for the setting in use.

What is the maximum win?

TaDa Gaming lists 25,000x the bet.

What multipliers are on the special reel?

Eleven values: 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x and 500x. The value in the centre position multiplies line wins.

How does the Nudge feature work?

When there is a line win, an Ex Nudge or Nudge Wild pulls the special reel down repeatedly. Each grab collects a multiplier, and the grabbed values stack before they are applied. TaDa's page states up to 500 grabs.

What is Gift of Garuda?

A random modifier that can trigger on any spin. Documented effects include raising the odds of high multipliers, upgrading the multiplier result, respinning the main reels and switching to a stronger outcome.

What does Extra Bet do?

Extra Bet 1 costs 1.5x the bet and removes the 1x and 2x multipliers. Extra Bet 2 costs 8x the bet, removes every value below 15x and is widely reported to make Nudge values five times higher.

Is Fortune Garuda 500 high volatility?

No. TaDa Gaming's page rates it Medium, and some listings rate it Low. Extra Bet 2 pushes results toward the higher end.

How does it compare with Fortune Gems 500?

Both use a special reel with a top value of 500x and Nudge grabs. Fortune Garuda 500 adds the Nudge Wild, Gift of Garuda and a second Extra Bet tier, and doubles the maximum win from 12,500x to 25,000x.
