Short verdict: small screens, big side reels
TaDa Gaming has made a speciality out of a single idea. Take a tiny line slot, often only three reels by three rows, and put a separate reel beside it that multiplies every win. The Fortune Gems series is built on that structure, and Fortune Garuda 500 is its most ambitious version so far. It's a clear, readable design. The risk is that, if you don't like the side-reel format, much of the slot catalogue will feel familiar.
An Asian arcade heritage with a Maltese office
The iGaming Business directory lists TaDa Gaming as founded in 2019, with its headquarters in Malta and a parent company in Taiwan: International Games System, usually shortened to IGS. SoftSwiss's provider page also names IGS as the parent and dates IGS to 1989. That link explains the studio's second strength, fish-shooting arcade games, a genre IGS is known for in Asia. The directory lists Ocean King Jackpot, Happy Fishing and Bombing Fishing among its series.
TaDa's own website gives the company details. TaDa Gaming Ltd is registered in Malta under number C99914, with an address at Quantum House in Ta' Xbiex. It lists these licences:
- Malta Gaming Authority, B2B licence MGA/B2B/940/2022
- UK Gambling Commission, account 66390
- Sweden's Spelinspektionen, 25Si1039
- Greece's Hellenic Gaming Commission, HGC-000140-MN
- Romania's ONJN, 1719/19.12.2024
- Ontario's AGCO, GRSM1444241
The website describes a catalogue of more than 200 HTML5 games across slots, fish shooting, crash, table and card games, bingo and arcade. The iGaming Business directory says it releases four new games a month.
Fortune Gems and the logic of the side reel
TaDa lists Fortune Gems alongside TriLuck, DarkReel and Surge Reel as its leading slot series. The Fortune Gems formula is simple. A small main grid produces line wins, and a separate reel supplies the multiplier that applies to them. Each new version has raised the ceiling. TaDa's release for Fortune Gems 500 introduced multipliers of up to 500x, and our review of that game's successor records a 12,500x cap for it.
The second recurring tool is the Extra Bet. TaDa names it as a signature feature, alongside Lock & Respin. An Extra Bet costs more per spin and changes what the side reel can land, usually by removing its lowest values. It isn't free value. It trades a higher stake for a different spread of results.
How Fortune Garuda 500 stretches the formula
Fortune Garuda 500 is the TaDa title on our site. Its verified specs are:
| Spec | Value |
|---|---|
| RTP | 97.10% |
| Volatility | Medium |
| Max win | 25,000x |
| Release | 31 March 2026 |
TaDa's launch release describes a three-reel setup with an extra special reel carrying multipliers from 1x to 500x. It adds Nudge Wild and Ex NUDGE symbols, which can make the reel grab several multipliers in one round, and a random feature called Gift of Garuda. The 25,000x cap is double the Fortune Gems 500 figure. As our game review explains, the Nudge grabs, which stack several values together, are what make that higher cap possible. A single 500x symbol on its own would not.
The game's 97.1% RTP comes from game databases rather than TaDa's own page, which doesn't publish one. We flag that in the game review. TaDa's official page gives the volatility as Medium.
RTP and volatility at studio level
TaDa doesn't publish a studio-wide RTP policy on the pages we checked, and the Fortune Garuda 500 launch material gives no RTP at all. We therefore don't quote a typical figure for the studio. The one consistent design choice is structural: most of the volatility in these games sits in the side reel and in whichever Extra Bet tier you pick.
Who TaDa's games are for
- Players who want a short rules page. A 3x3 grid with one multiplier reel takes a minute to learn.
- Multiplier chasers who enjoy seeing a single number decide the size of a win.
- Arcade fans, thanks to the IGS fish-shooting background.
Players who want long free-spins rounds, cascading grids or deep bonus stories will find less here.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Six regulators are listed with licence numbers on the studio's own site.
- A clear, easy-to-learn format across the Fortune Gems family.
- The Extra Bet tiers are documented, so you can see what extra stake buys.
Cons
- Many slots share the same side-reel structure, so variety is limited.
- Official game pages don't always publish RTP, which leaves database figures as the main source.
